Over 15 years in global operations coupled with 20 years of domestic logistics with leading firms such as Alcon Laboratories and Mary Kay Cosmetics. At Alcon Labs he provided operations and engineering support for the successful startup of a new manufacturing plant in Puerto Rico that achieved efficiency improvements plans.
During 24 years with Mary Kay, Jerry spent 7 years as VP Global Operations as internal consultant to the international business units. During his tenure, the international markets grew from 19 to 34 global subsidiaries. Each of the 15 new markets required establishment of staff, facilities, business infrastructure, import/export, and distribution networks for the direct selling business. (These new markets included such challenging countries as China, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, and Kazakhstan.) Jerry planned, built and implemented one of the first “western style” warehouses in Russia; including high bay storage and pick-to-light order fulfillment. In 1995-96 he lived in Japan and served as acting President of Mary Kay Japan, K.K. Jerry is highly skilled at identifying, refining and leading change across multicultural business units globally.
Jerry graduated with a Bachelor of Science Industrial Engineering degree (Cum Laude). He was recognized at the Logistics & e-Supply Chain Forum in New York as one of the top 20 International Logistics Executives in 2002.
